And as our lunch menu would consist of different courses which would be heavy, she would always suggest for something light and healthy for dinner, so would cook one of the Indian one meal dish.

Rice and Pulses are one of the most common ingredients used in Indian households. Every household prepares rice on day to day basis and similarly even pulses or dals are used on daily basis. As my mother was a working women and somedays she would be busy with work, I and my father would cook Vegetable Pulao with raita, as it’s a meal itself and is also quick to make.
