To make the paneer rice recipe in a pressure cooker , take a pressure cooker. Put the oil and butter and heat it up. Add the onions, ginger, garlic, green chilli paste and sauté. Then add the cooked long grain basmati rice, garam masala, water, curds and pressure cook to make paneer pulao.

This helps in preventing the rice grain from sticking to each other after cooking. 2. Put the oil and butter and heat it up in a pressure cooker. Ingredients

For Paneer Pulao
1 tsp oil
2 tsp butter
1/2 cup thinly sliced onions
1 tbsp chopped ginger (adrak)
1 tbsp chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tbsp green chilli paste
3 tbsp tomato puree
1 cup rice (chawal) , soaked for 1 hour and drained
1 cup paneer (cottage cheese) cubes
salt to taste
a pinch of sugar
1/2 tsp garam masala
1 tbsp curd (dahi)

For The Garnish
2 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
Method

    For paneer pulao
  1. To make paneer pulao recipe, heat the oil and butter in a pressure cooker.
  2. Add the onions and sauté on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes or till the onions turn translucent.
  3. Add the ginger, garlic and green chilli paste and sauté on a medium flame for another 1 minute.
  4. Add the tomato purée and sauté again for 1 minute.
  5. Add the rice and sauté for another 1 minute.
  6. Add the paneer and sauté for 1 more minute.
  7. Add 2 cups of hot water, salt, sugar, garam masala and curds, mix well and pressure cook for 2 whistles.
  8. Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
  9. Serve the paneer pulao hot garnished with coriander.

  7. Likewise, add the paneer and sauté for 1 more minute.
  8. Now put 2 cups of hot water, salt and sugar. Adding sugar will enhance the taste of your Paneer Pulao.
  9. Add garam masala and give it a stir. Always taste the water when you cook the rice for salt and spices.
  10. Add the curds and mix well.
  11. Pressure cook for 2 whistle. Allow the steam to escape naturally before opening the lid. Mix your paneer pulao | paneer rice | quick paneer pulao in a pressure cooker | well with the help of a spatula or a wooden spoon.
  12. Serve the paneer pulao hot garnished with coriander leaves.
