Healthy Jar Snacks

For a healthy life style, its crucial to eat small healthy snacks or healthy jar snacks through the day between your lunch and dinner. So you could be snacking atleast 4 to 5 times a day or every 2 to 3 hours. The reason is simple, never starve yourself as you want to keep your blood sugar levels normal through the day and that enables fat burning.

Hunger can attack us anytime during the day and sometimes at night too. Even the healthiest eaters often reach out to unhealthy snacks when hunger strikes at odd hours, because they do not have time to cook anything fresh at that moment. This section on healthy jar snacks will save you from this predicament. Keep some of these dry snacks handy, stored in airtight jars, so you can instantly answer any hunger pangs without compromising on the health quotient.

I have Iron rich Ragi and Oats Crackers in my office and Cumin seed crackers made without maida for guests who visit. Masala Makhana goes into my kids tiffin and i like it as it gives a savoury taste and a good change to fruit based snacks

Don't miss out on Whole Wheat Methi Khakra, Nachni Sesame Khakra and Bajra Methi Khakra as quick options. Break the khakras into small bits and put them in a jar.

Drop the fried snacks and opt for Baked Sev and Non Fried Chakli.
