चावल के फायदे, स्वास्थ्य विषयक (benefits of rice, chawal in Hindi)

यह चावल के गुण हैं - चावल कॉम्प्लेक्स कार्बोहाइड्रेट का एक बड़ा स्रोत है, जो हमारे शरीर के लिए ऊर्जा का एक महत्वपूर्ण स्रोत है। इसके अलावा यह लस मुक्त है। चावल में फाइबर कम होता है और इसलिए दस्त से पीड़ित लोगों के लिए एक अच्छा विकल्प है। लेकिन चावल प्रोटीन और बी विटामिन का एक अच्छा स्रोत है।

चावल के अवगुण - चावल जैसे खाद्य पदार्थ का ग्लाइसेमिक इंडेक्स ज्यादा होता है और यह वजन घटाने के लिए, हृदय रोगियों के लिए और डायबिटीज रोगियों के लिए  उपयुक्त नहीं हैं क्योंकि यह रक्त शर्करा स्तर को प्रभावित करता है। पर यदि चावल को उच्च प्रोटीन या उच्च फाइबर वाले खाद्य पदार्थों के साथ जोड़ा जाए, तो ग्लाइसेमिक लोड संतुलित हो सकता है। इस प्रकार इसका कॉम्बो एक बेहतर विकल्प है जैसे हमने पांच धन खिचड़ी और तुवर दाल नी खिचड़ी में किया है। क्या आपके लिए सफेद चावल और उकडा चावल अच्छा है, यह पढें?
