Succulent and crisp toasts with a herby aroma and pungent flavour, the Basic Garlic Celery Toast is an amazing accompaniment for soups and pastas of all kinds.
Make sure you grind the celery and garlic coarsely to get the right aroma and flavour, and also use the suggested amount of butter as that gives the required moistness to the toasts. Enjoy the Garlic Toasts immediately on baking.
- Place the bread slices on a clean, dry surface and apply a little paste evenly on each bread slice.
- Bake them in a pre-heated oven at 180°c (360°f) for 15 to 20 minutes or till the toasts are evenly crisp.
- Serve immediately.
