Ingredients

2 1/4 cups plain flour (maida)
1 tsp baking soda
3/4 tsp salt
1 1/4 tsp cinnamon (dalchini) powder
4 cups quick cooking rolled oats
1 1/2 cups light brown sugar
1/2 cup unsalted butter, cut in to 1/2 inch pieces
apple or cranberry filling
Method


  1. Heat oven 375 degrees.
  2. In a large vowl, whisk togather flour, baking soda, salt and cinnamon.
  3. Stir in oats and brown sugar, using your fingers. work butter into mixing untill combined, mixture should be crumbely but hold togather.
  4. Line on 11by17 inches baking ban with barchment paper.
  5. Press 5 cups oats mixture in to bottom of the pan.
  6. Spread desired filling over oat mixture.
  7. Sprinkle remaining mixure over filling. bake until golden, about 45 minutes. transfer pan to wire rack to cool.
  8. Cut into 60 1 1/4 by2 1/2 inches pieces.
  9. Serve hot. or serve cold with your favourite ice-cream
