Kundan Goli recipe - How to make Kundan Goli

20 dates (khajur) , deseeded
1 tsp cumin seeds (jeera)
1/2 cup dessicated coconut
1/2 cup melon seeds (charmagaz)
1/4 cup ghee
1/4 tsp powdered cardamoms
1 cup milk
1 cup milk powder
  1. Soak the dates in milk for 2 hours.
  2. Remove seeds and blend in a mixer to a smooth paste.
  3. Heat the ghee in a kadhai and add the cumin seeds.
  4. When the seeds crackle, add the date paste and melon seeds and cardamom powder and mix well and saute till ghee leaves the sides.
  5. Kneed the milk powder 1spoon of water
  6. Now take the mixture of dry dates on palm flat and place a dallop of milk powder.
  7. Cover with coconut powder and serve immediately.
