A typica gujarati recipe. The combination of ridge gourd and yellow moong dal is excellent. The basic spices used in this recipe gives it a nice flavour and perfect taste. It is not much spicy also.

Lachha parathas are always my favourite. Forming of layers is very important in this and i am so glad that this recipes just makes it perfect. Also i thought making these parathas may consume lot of time, but its not so. The method is so quick and easy.

French Beans Foogath
Reviewed February 21, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

The tempering of dals and spices adds to the flavour of the original foogath. Instead of the beans foogath, the twist of dals gives a great mouth feel. Coconut and coriander is a taste changer, definitely in a good way..

Creamy Cauliflower

I was so bored of having the typical cauliflower subzi. This recipe is a great change. You can have this subzi just like that also, its so delicious. It goes well with rotis and phulkas also. The paste of onions and green chillies gives a good spice to it.

tried this recipe and it turned out to be really great. It tastes very much like we get in the restaurants. The sauces are to the mark which gives a very nice colour as well as taste.

Potato and Green Pea Mini Wraps

This wrap is made using the common ingredients we have at home and it tastes so delicious. Loved this recipe!

Dal Pakwan
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

I followed this recipe exact as it is and the results were just amazing! It tastes exactly like we get outside or made at sindhi houses. Although this is a sindhi breakfast, this is loved by each and everyone. The dal is simple and tasty with minimum number of spices, but it is meant to be that way. Topped with onions and coriander, it completels the meal totally. You can make the pakwans in advance and store it in an air tight container.

Moong Aur Mooli ki Chaat
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

You must have had dahi vadas, but this is a dish with the same concept but totally different taste. The pakodis of yellow moong dal are so tasty that you can also have them just like that. But ya adding the curds, raddish, chutneys and masalas definitely intensify the taste. Especially the raddish, which gives a great crunch to this chaat.

Mooli Thepla
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

Bored of eating those routine theplas. Heres a great twist to it. Adding raddish and raddish leaves boots the taste of the theplas. It is very easy to make, made in the same way as the theplas, but when you have it the taste is totally different. A nice tiffin treat for your kids as well.

Corn and Capsicum Tikki
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

I was so surprised with this recipe. Without using potato or any other binding agent, this tikkis are made. When you have this tikki, you wont feel like anything is missing. The corn and capsicum with chillies makes this recipe flawless. I love Tarla Dalal for giving us such recipes, which we cannot even think of.

the image is so attractive and so delicious is this recipe. The green pickle is a vital ingredient in this recipe and make sure you dont skip it. It lends such a delightful flavour to this recipe. Each spice in the marinade enhances the flavour of this dish. Must give a try to this recipe..

Pesto Penne
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

Although this is a jain recipe, i dint feel like i am having one. The coloured capsicum and other veggies just makes it perfect. It is so good to have penne in a new sauce, something different from red and white sauce..

Pav Bhaji Burger
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

A wonderful twist to the regular burgers we have. The spice powders in the bhaji are just perfect! The veggies in the bhaji gives a light but great mouthfeel. Bhaji when topped with cheese and grilled definately enhances the taste. Cooking on tava might be fine but i dont think it might give that amazing taste which is given by the grilling method. I made this burger and trust me not only me but my family loved it too!

Papdi ( For Chaat)
Reviewed February 19, 2015by Gandhi Dhwani

This recipe tastes so delicious. Just like the puris we get outside. First i thought its a little tedious to make roll these many puris at home. Then what i did is, i roll a huge 10 inch circle, and cut into circles with the help of a top of the bottle. It was very quick. The best part is that it is made with 100% wheat flour and no plain flour is used.
