Easy Spicy Sev recipe - How to make Easy Spicy Sev

Ingredients
2 cups besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tbsp oil
salt to taste
2-3 pinches asafoetida (hing)
oil for deep frying
Method
    Method
  1. Combine the besan, salt, oil, chilli powder and carom seeds in a bowl and mix well.
  2. Add enough water to make a dough which is quite gooey.
  3. Grease the inside of a sev-press, fill with the dough.
  4. Press into hot oil, and deep fry lightly on both sides.
  5. Drain well and cool before storing.
