1 1/2 cups icing sugar
1 tbsp cocoa powder
1 tbsp chocolate powder
2 tsp melted butter

  1. To make chocolate glaze icing, sieve the icing sugar in a deep bowl, add 2 ½ tbsp of hot water and mix well with a spoon.
  2. Add the cocoa powder, chocolate powder, melted butter and 1 tbsp of hot water and mix well.
  3. Use the chocolate glaze icing immediately.

How to make Chocolate Glaze Icing:

  1. Take a deep bowl and place a sieve over it.
  2. Sieve the icing sugar using a spoon to push it down. This is done to get rid of lumps or impurities if any.
  3. Add about 2½ tbsp of hot water.We add hot water because mixing becomes difficult if you add cold water.
  4. Mix well with a spoon till no lumps remain.
  5. Now, add the cocoa powder.
  6. Also, add the chocolate powder. Both these ingredients are added to flavour the Chocolate Glaze Icing
  7. Add the melted butter for the smooth texture it provides to the Chocolate Glaze Icing. 
  8. Finally, add 1 tbsp of hot water to adjust the consistency of the Chocolate Glaze Icing .
  9. Mix Chocolate Glaze well with the help of a spoon. Make sure there are no lumps.
  10. Use immediately as the Chocolate Glaze Icing hardens quickly. You can pour it over cakes ,doughnuts, cinnamon rolls,etc

Super easy and quick.. chocolate glaze icing, made in no time. It gives the cake a nice sugary cover, with a chocolaty flavor. I love this recipe.
