It combines excellently with chocolate or even plain vanilla sponge cakes, elevating them to an all-new plane of culinary pleasure. Combined with the right dose of butter, this icing is easy to pipe onto your cakes and cupcakes, enabling you to decorate them quite attractively.
- Sieve the icing sugar in a deep bowl and keep aside.
- Place the butter in a deep bowl and mix it with a help of a wooden spoon till light and smooth.
- Add the sieved icing sugar gradually and mix well.
- Add the rum and mix well.
- Use as required.
