Just a few ingredients and a few minutes are all it takes to make this dynamic chutney, which combines the fieriness of chillies and the pungency of garlic.

You can store it in an airtight container in the fridge for at least a week, and use it to make delicious snacks like Pav Bhaji and Bhel Puri .

Method
  1. Soak the kashmiri red chillies in hot water in a deep bowl for ½ an hour.
  2. Drain, remove the stems.
  3. Combine the kashmiri chillies, garlic, salt and ¼ cup of water in the mixer and blend till smooth.
  4. Store in an air-tight container and refrigerate. Use as required.

The chilli garlic chutney is amazing. It gives an amazing color when I add it to any of my vegetables due to the addition of kashmiri chillies. i have made it and stored in my freezer and i use it whenever my recipe requires good red color. I used it for pavbhaji and the colour and flavour was amazing.
