Ingredients

1/4 tin of condensed milk
120 gms plain flour (maida)
120 gms butter
90 gms cocoa powder
50 gms sugar
2 eggs
1/3 cup milk
1/2 tsp baking powder

For Icing
1/4 tin of condensed milk
30 gms cocoa powder, sieved
50 gms butter
Method

  1. Greece and dust the baking tin with flour.
  2. Preset oven at 120c.
  3. Raise the flour.
  4. Beat the butter with coco and sugar until light creamy add eggs little at a time beating well after each addition fold with seeved maida in to above mixture alternating with milk and milk maid.
  5. Mix well and pour in to greased tray and bake at 160c for 25-30 minutes until center of the sponge cake springs back with lightly pressed.
  6. Allow to cool

Icing-

    Icing-
  1. Melt butter for icing add coco cooked over low heat for a minute.
  2. Remove from heat add milk maid.
  3. Mix thoroughly spread over cake tray and leave to set.
  4. Cut in squares and serves.
