One of the most delicious of fruits, the apple is available almost all over the world, and almost throughout the year. Look for well coloured apples that are firm with a fresh fragrance. The skin should be smooth, with no bruises or black spots.
Wash the apple very well with clean water to make it free of dirt if any. Wash it under running water to prevent any sort of contamination.
Wipe it with a clean kitchen towel.
Cut the apple into 4 portions vertically using a sharp knife.
Remove the core and the seeds using a sterilized knife and discard them. Alternatively you can also use an apple corer.

2 tbsp sliced black olives
To Be Mixed Together Into A Lemony Honey Dressing
2 tsp lemon juice
1 tbsp honey
1 tbsp olive oil
salt and to taste

Combine all the ingredients for the salad in a bowl and toss well.
Add the lemony honey dressing and toss well.
Serve immediately or refrigerate for at least 1 hour and serve chilled.
