Egg Masala recipe - How to make Egg Masala

6 hard boiled eggs , shelled
2 finely chopped onions
2 finely chopped tomatoes
1 tsp lemon juice
salt to taste
2 tbsp oil
1 cup water
chopped coriander (dhania) leaves for garnishing

To Be Ground Into A Paste
1 inch piece of ginger (adrak)
5 garlic (lehsun) cloves
1/2 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp coriander seeds powder
1/2 tsp cumin seeds (jeera) powder
2 green chillies
1 tsp garam masala
  1. Prick the eggs with the fork and keep aside.
  2. Heat a oil in non-stick pan, add the onions and saute till golden brown in colour.
  3. Add the tomatoes, mix well and saute for 5 minutes.
  4. Add the ground paste and salt, mix well and let it cook for another 3-4 minutes, while stirring continuously.
  5. Add water and eggs and bring to a boil.
  6. Let it cook on a medium flame for 10 minutes or till the gravy thickens.
  7. Add lemon juice and stir well.
  8. Remove from the flame and garnish with coriander leaves.
  9. Serve hot.
