This skin has to be removed along with the 'eyes' or the seeds from inside. It has a bright yellow color and is slightly tart but mostly sweet in taste, and of course, super delicious! Due to its unique flavor, it is used in a variety of desserts, mocktails and salads all around the world. To chop the pineapple, cut it from the center and cut pieces of the fruit away from the core. The size of the pieces can depend on its use in the recipe.

Pineapples taste wonderful in desserts due to their sweet and sour taste. They give a unique taste to every dessert they are added to because they are juicy.

Layered Fruit, White Chocolate and Coconut Biscuit Dessert – as the name itself suggests, this dessert has multiple layers, each complementing the other. The tangy and peppy fruits form the first layer and cut through the sweetness of the white chocolate. The desiccated coconut and chopped nuts add a different texture as well.

Pineapple Sundae – This dessert doesn’t use any other fruit other than pineapple, making it the hero if the dish. It combines pineapple in different ways – jellies, fresh, puree and biscuit- and serve it with ice-cream to make one big ice cream sundae. 

Pineapple Jam filled bread tarts - Melt in mouth bread tartlets, filled with a fruity pineapple jam, is every kids dream come true! Adding crushed digestive biscuits to the pineapple jam mixture is another master stroke.

Innovative Chopped Pineapple Recipes
