When you find the fruit stalls burgeoning with pineapples, bring home a ripe one, so you can try out this yummy dessert! Sure to appeal to young and old alike, the Pineapple Sundae features an exciting array of pineapple jelly cubes, chopped fruit, crush, pineapple wafer biscuits and ice-cream, arranged in an eye-catching way.
The vanilla ice-cream helps to balance the pineapple flavour, which pervades every other aspect of this ice-cream. Arrange this dessert just before serving.
- Just before serving, add ¼ cup of pineapple jelly and 2 scoops of vanilla ice-cream in each glass.
- Drizzle 1 tbsp of pineapple crush and top it with ¼ cup pineapple and ¼ cup of jelly evenly over it.
- Garnish it with 2 pineapple wafer biscuits and serve immediately.
