Ingredients
For The Pineapple Dip
- 1/2 cup chopped pineapple
- 2 tbsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
- 1 tbsp sliced onions
- 1/4 tsp crushed garlic (lehsun)
- 1 1/4 tbsp freshly prepared orange juice
- 1/4 tbsp lemon juice
- 1/2 tsp olive oil
- 1/8 tsp chilli powder
- a pinch sugar
- salt to taste
Other Ingredients
- 4 whole wheat bread slices
For The Garnish
Method
For the pineapple dip
- Combine all the ingredients and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Transfer the mixture to a bowl and divide it into 4 equal portions. Refrigerate till use.
- Just before serving, toast the whole wheat bread slice in a pop-up toaster.
- Cut each toast into 3 equal pieces vertically.
- Garnish the pineapple dip with the mint sprig and serve immediately with toasted whole wheat bread slices.
