Indo - Chinese Sandwich recipe - How to make Indo - Chinese Sandwich

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

Ingredients
8 bread slices
butter for toasting the bread
1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 finely chopped medium onions
6 finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
3/4 inch finely chopped ginger (adrak)
3 finely chopped small green chillis
1 finely chopped big carrot
1 finely chopped big capsicum
3/4 cup finely chopped cabbage
1 tsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
1/2 tsp freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch)
1 1/2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp soy sauce
1 tbsp chilli sauce
1 to 1 1/2 tbsp tomato ketchup
salt to taste
Method
    Method
  1. Heat oil in pan. add the finely chopped onion, garlic, ginger and green chillis and saute till onion becomes light in color.
  2. Add carrots, cabbage, capsicum and coriander and saute for 3 minutes.
  3. Add pepper, chilli powder, soya sauce, chilli sauce and tomato ketchup and salt. Mix well and saute for another 2 minutes. switch off the flame.
  4. Heat a tava and toast two bread slices using butter.
  5. Spread the stuffing prepared on one of the toasted bread slice and sandwich it using another toasted bread slice.(I love to have more stuffing in my sandwiches)
  6. Repeat 3 and 4 to make 3 more sandwiches.
  7. Serve it with fries and enjoy.
