Green Pea Bhel

With a bit of imagination it is possible to make different types of bhel. The oriental variant made with noodles is a street food you might be familiar with. Here is another variant made with nutritious green peas. Boiled green peas are tempered with green chillies and cumin seeds and topped with chutneys and spice powders typical of chaat, and there in front of you is the delectable, irresistible green pea bhel!
- Heat the oil in a broad non-stick pan and add the cumin seeds.
- When the seeds crackle, add the green chillies and saute on a medium flame for a few seocnds.
- Add the green peas and salt, mix well and cook on a emdium flame ofr 1 to 2 miutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Allow the green pea mixture to cool slightly, add the cuds, green chutney, sweet chuntey, coriander, cumin seeds powder, chilli powder and salt and mix well.
- Serve imediately.
