Ginger’s medicinal properties are known to be beneficial against cold and throat pain, so we have made a wonderful, soul-warming drink by cooking the ginger in milk and sweetening it lightly with sugar.

2 tbsp roughly chopped ginger (adrak)
1 1/2 tbsp sugar
Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep pan, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 5 minutes.
  2. Strain the mixture.
  3. Pour the milk into 4 individual glasses and serve immediately.
