This soothing and aromatic tea is great for relieving stress and also a good remedy for a cold and cough. Also ginger acts as an anti inflammatory agent to the body and all of us have unseen and seen inflammation of the body. So this is an ideal Tea to have in the morning when you get up.
Try other Indian drinks like Masala Chai or healthy Whey Soup and Nourishing Barley Soup.
- Wash the lemon and cut into thin slices.
- Place the lemon and ginger slices in a small teapot.
- Pour boiling hot water into the teapot.
- Allow the tea to infuse for a few minutes.
- Sweeten with honey and serve warm.
