These are usually less popular no thanks to their chunky size! But I have experimented and made delicious recipes using them, by soaking and chopping them into bite-sized pieces. They are a rather good addition to some recipes as they soak up flavours well.
- Combine the soya chunks, salt and 1 cup of warm water together in a bowl.
- Keep aside for 10 to 12 minutes.
- Squeeze the soya chunks thoroughly, retain them and discard the drained water.
- Chop them roughly and use as required.
