Soaking soya chunks is very easy. These are usually very popular thanks to their chunky size! However Soya Mutter ki Subzi is a good option to try using whole soaked soya chunks.

I have also experimented and made delicious recipes using them, by soaking and chopping them into bite-sized pieces. They are a rather good addition to some recipes as they soak up flavours well. Try recipes like Soya Pulao, Soya Vegetable Medley etc.

Soaked soya chunks are a good source of protein, but being processed they are not a very good source of other nutrients.

Tips for soaking soya chunks. 1. Use warm water so they soak well and quickly. 2. While squeezing, press them lightly, else they will break.
