- Wash and soak the green moong dal and rice in enough water for 15 minutes. Drain and keep aside.

Before serving Green Moong Dal Khichdi for babies, ensure that you have introduced rice and green moong dal separately to your baby.
Begin with a small quantity and gradually increase the quantity.
When introducing this Khichdi for the first time, try it during day time as digestion is the best at this time.
