Carrot has a very baby-friendly flavour, which is sweet and soothing. That is what makes this nutritious and vividly-coloured soup a great hit with your little one.
With ample vitamins, this soup will do wonders for your baby’s vision and skin, so it is an essential addition to the menu.
You can alternate between this and Beetroot Soup for some time; and then you can move on to a more exciting combination of both together which is Beetroot and Carrot Soup.
1/2 cup peeled and roughly chopped carrot
- Combine the carrot and ¾ cup of water in a pressure cooker, mix well and pressure cook for 4 whistles.
- Allow the steam to escape before opening the lid.
- Cool slightly and blend in a mixer till smooth.
- Strain the mixture using a strainer.
- Serve lukewarm.
