Encourage kids to eat right by offering this tasty, nutritious Mango Smoothie as a snack. Mango is high in vitamin C, and the milk and yogurt team up to provide calcium. Kids will enjoy the crunch of the biscuits with every sip.

To make it more appealing, garnish each smoothie with a colorful straw threaded with some fruit pieces, such as pineapple chunks and maraschino cherries.

Ingredients
3/4 cup low-fat milk
2 cups frozen vanilla flavored curds (dahi) , slightly softened
1 medium mango , peeled and roughly chopped
16 low-fat wafer biscuits , broken into pieces
Method
    Method
  1. Combine milk, yogurt and mango in mixer and blend until smooth.
  2. Add wafers and blend just until wafers are finely chopped, using pulsing action, (shake will not be smooth).
  3. Pour evenly into 4 tall glasses.
  4. Serve immediately.

  6. Can also be made using regular wafer biscuts and vanilla ice-cream.
