Chocolate Fondue recipe - How to make Chocolate Fondue

100 gms plain or milk chocolate, broken into small pieces
1 tbsp plain flour (maida)
1/3 cup milk
3 tbsp cocoa powder (approx.)
200 gms beaten cream
4 to 5 tbsp sugar
1/2 tsp vanilla essence
1 tbsp butter
2 tbsp brandy (optional)
Stewed or fresh fruit, marshmallows, cake pieces for dipping


  1. Put the butter in a glass bowl and add the flour.
  2. Microwave on medium for 1 1/2 minutes, stirring twice in-between after every 30 seconds.
  3. Add the milk, chocolate pieces, cocoa, cream, sugar and 1 teacup of water microwave on medium for about 3 to 4 minutes or until mixture becomes thick, stirring in-between after every 30 seconds.
  4. Pour the mixture in a chafing dish. stir in the vanilla essence and brandy.
