1 cup plain flour (maida)
3/4 cup ghee
1 1/2 cups sugar
3 to 4 tsp cocoa powder
milk as required
chocolate vermicilli for garnishing
  1. Heat the ghee in a kadhai, add the plain flour and saute till it gives out good aroma and keep aside.
  2. In the same kadhai, put sugar and add milk so that the sugar sinks in it and cook till sugar dissolves.
  3. Now add cocoa powder and mix well.
  4. Add the fried plain flour, mix well and cook till it leaves the vessel in a slow flame.
  5. Pour on a greased plate and spread the chocolate vermicelli
  6. and press with the back of the spoon so that the vermicelli sticks properly.
  7. Cut to pieces when hot and on cooling take out the pieces carefully and serve.
