Punjabis don’t believe in staying hungry! Be it at the start of the day or any time in between, they keep themselves satiated. Not only do they focus on the three main meals of the day, but also on in-between snacks. You too will fall in love with peppy Punjabi treats like Paneer AmritsariTandoori AlooSamosa and Aloo Tikki's, which are enjoyed with a spread of chutneys and sauces. 
 

Tandoori Punjabi Snack delicacies
Tandoor is a term used to refer a clay oven which can either be set into the earth and fired with wood or charcoal. It is a traditional aspect of Punjabi cuisine and used for baking or cooking flatbreads and a wide range of appetizers like tikkas, kebabs and tandoori delicacies. Paneer tikka! Does this snack need any introduction? Chunks of paneer marinated in thick curd, dry spices and other ingredients are skewered and cooked to perfection. Similarly, you can make Paneer amritsari tikka, Pahadi paneer tikka and Paneer Achari Tikka . If you are an ardent lover of vegetables then try making this Mushroom and Capsicum Tikka. These flavorful tikkas make a great party starter. 

Aloo tikki is a popular potato preparation, that can be had as it is, or as part of a gravy or a chaat preparation. Aloo Tikki Chaat  and Chole Tikki Chaat are other lip-smacking, irresistible street food in the North India. The tikkis are poured with curds and spruced up with sweet and green chutneys and an exciting mix of spice powders. 

Punjabi Kebabs

Kebabs can be deep fried, shallow fried or roasted in a tandoor. Vegetable Kebab, Hara Bhara Kebab and Rajma Kebab are some amazing options for cocktail party or tea-time snack. Baby Corn Hara Masala and Chatpate Aloo are other sumptuous starter made by tossing vegetables in peppy masala. The myriad flavoured and textured starters take hardly any time to cook.
