For paneer bhuna masala
 

  1. To make paneer bhuna masala recipe, heat 1 tbsp oil in a broad non stick pan add the paneer cubes.
  2. Shallow fry them on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes until light golden brown from all the sides.
  3. Add the sliced onions and sliced capsicum, saute for 2 minutes. Keep aside.
  4. Heat the remaining oil and ghee in a deep pan, add cumin seeds, garlic, ginger and green chillies. Saute for a few seconds.
  5. Add the onions and coriander stem. Saute on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, until light golden brown.
  6. Add the masala paste and cook on a medium flame for 2 to 3 minutes until the oil releases.
  7. Add the tomato cashew paste, mix well and cook further for 2 to 3 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  8. Add the paneer and veggies, salt to taste, kasuri methi and 1 cup hot water.
  9. Mix well and cook on a medium flame for 3 to 4 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
  10. Add lemon juice, coriander and mix well.
  11. Serve paneer bhuna masala hot.
