Bread Pakoda Tricolour recipe - How to make Bread Pakoda Tricolour

Ingredients

To Be Mixed Into A Batter
1 cup besan (bengal gram flour)
1/2 cup water
1/4 tsp turmeric powder (haldi)
1/2 tsp chilli powder
salt to taste

Other Ingredients
6 big slices bread
2 tbsp tomato ketchup
2 tbsp green chutney
oil for deep-frying

For Serving
chutney of your choice
Method
    Method
  1. Place a slice of bread on a clean flat surface and spread 1 tbsp of the green chutney evenly over it.
  2. Place another slice of bread over it, and spread 1 tbsp of the Tomato Ketchup evenly over it
  3. Place another slice of bread over it,press lightly and cut it diagonally into 2 equal pieces.
  4. Repeat with the remaining ingredients to make 2 equal pieces.
  5. Dip each piece in the batter till it is evenly coated from all the sides, slide in hot oil and deep-fry on a medium flame till they turn light brown in colour and crisp from all sides.
  6. Drain on absorbent paper.
  7. Cut in equal pieces and serve hot with chutney/sauce of your choice
