Vegetable Pulao By Jesanthony recipe - How to make Vegetable Pulao By Jesanthony

Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 servings

1 tbsp vegetable oil
2 medium sized onions, chopped
1 green chilli, chopped
1 small sized chopped tomato
50 gms peas
a pinch of turmeric (haldi) powder
salt to taste
2 vegetable maggie cubes
2 cups soaked long grained rice (basmati) (plain rice will do)
4 cups water

For The Garnish
chopped coriander
  1. In a pan heat the oil and add onions, saute it till it turns to brown.
  2. Add green chillies, tomatoes, peas, turmeric and salt and simmer it on slow flame till the tomato becomes pulpy.
  3. Add maggie cubes and saute it for few seconds, add the rice and mix it gently.
  4. Add water and let it simmer on slow flame till the rice is cooked.
  5. Serve hot garnish with chopped coriander.
