These crisp and tasty cutlets made of noodles and veggies have an awesome flavour too, thanks to the perfect blend of spice powders.

It is quick and easy to make, and is enjoyed by kids and adults too. Make sure you bind the cutlets firmly with your hands otherwise you will not be able to shape them properly.

Ingredients
1 cup boiled hakka noodles
1/2 cup finely chopped and boiled mixed vegetables
1/4 cup boiled and lightly mashed green peas
1/4 cup boiled and mashed potatoes
2 tbsp finely chopped coriander (dhania)
2 tbsp finely chopped spring onion greens
1 tbsp finely chopped spring onions
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1/4 tsp dried mango powder (amchur)
1/2 tsp chaat masala
1 tbsp cornflour
salt to taste
2 tsp oil for greasing and cooking

For Serving
tomato ketchup

    Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and mix very well using your hands.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a 75 mm. (3”) diameter flat cutlet.
  3. Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and grease it using 1 tsp of oil. Cook the cutlets using 1 tsp of oil till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides.
  4. Serve hot with tomato ketchup.

an instant snack for kiddies. when sanias friends came over i could not think of any good snack and then i came across these noodle cutlets...thank you tarlaji for a wonderful recipe! they turned out really good, next time when i made it i added little paneer and sprinkled little chaat masala on top before serving.
