All it takes is a little smartness to make delicious cheesy pasta within minutes! Cooking cheese slices in milk results in a creamy sauce-like base for the cooked penne and veggies. Choose a colourful combination of vegetables like capsicum and sweet corn, and balance the amount of salt and pepper, to make the perfect Cheesy Vegetable Pasta for your kids. Serve immediately for the best consistency.
- Heat the butter in a broad non-stick pan, add the capsicum and sauté on a medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Add the penne, milk, salt, pepper, sweet corn and cheese slices, mix well and cook on a medium flame for 4 to 5 minutes, while stirring occasionally.
- Serve immediately with garlic bread.
