Dahi Rotla recipe - How to make Dahi Rotla

Ingredients
100 gms whole wheat flour (gehun ka atta)
a pinch of chilli powder
a pinch of turmeric powder (haldi)
2 tsp ghee
1/2 cup sour curds (khatta dahi) (dahi) (approx.)
2 tsp fenugreek (methi) leaves (optional)
salt to taste
3 tsp oil
Method
    Method
  1. Take a bowl, add wheat flour , chilli powder, turmeric powder and salt. Mix well. Add ghee and washed and cut methi leaves. Mix lightly.
  2. Add curd little by little and knead the dough.
  3. The dough should be stiff.
  4. Roll out medium size chappathis.
  5. Heat a roti tawa, preferably.
  6. The traditional iron tawa.
  7. Put the chappathis on the tawa and turn it after it changes colour.
  8. Apply a little ghee or oil on one side and turn again. Press lightly on both sides till it is done.
