Papad ki subzi, a combination of moong dal mangodi and papd to make Papad Mangodi ki Subzi are some other delectable Rajasthani subzis. People love to gather around the warmth of the kitchen fire, to enjoy rustic, homely rotis right off the tava. Wheat flour rotis, parathas, masala baati generously drizzled with ghee are enjoyed with subzis. Winters are harsh in this region. Steaming hot Khichdi, Gaund ke ladoo, Moong dal halwa, Badam ka halwa are some vegetarian dishes eaten to keep the body warm on a cold winter’s night!
