For Varagu Sweet Potato Chilla

Method

For Varagu Sweet Potato Chilla 
 

  1. To make Varagu Sweet Potato Chilla , combine the cooked varagu, sweet potatoes, rawa, rice flour, curd and ½ cup water in a mixer jar and blend till smooth.
  2. Remove the mixture in a bowl, add the onions, green chillies, coriander and salt and mix well.
  3. Add ½ cup of water to get a batter of pouring consistency. 
  4. Heat a non-stick tava and grease it with ¼ tsp of oil. 
  5. Pour a ladleful of the batter on it and spread it in a circular motion to make a 4” chila , 

    cover it with a lid and cook for 3 to 4 mins

  6. Remove the lid and cook the chila using ¼ tsp of oil till it turns golden brown in colour from both the sides. 
  7. Repeat steps 4 to 6 to make 7 more chilas.
  8. Serve the Varagu Sweet Potato Chilla hot with green chutney.
