Summer at it's peak now in most part of the country (specially south) have this refreshing drink to keep your cool. Beat the heat with butter milk. Lots of packed butter milk or as we call it in south as moore is readily available in the market but the ones which are made at home are the ones which gives the real refreshment.

300 gms curds (dahi)
2 cups chilled water
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp black salt (sanchal)
1 tsp chaat masala or dried mango powder (amchur) (optional)
1 tbsp chopped coriander (dhania)
1 tsp finely chopped green chillies
ice cubes as required
  1. In a blender take the curd, ice cold water, salt, black salt and chaat masala and blend well.
  2. Depending on the thickness of the butter milk we can adjust the amount of water.
  3. Pour the butter milk in a glass and garnish with fresh coriander leaves and green chillies.
  4. Serve chilled with ice cubes.
