Khus khus kheer presents an innovative kheer recipe with ground khus khus or poppy seeds. The thick creamy and delicious khus khus kheer is sure to make all occasions a special one.
- Dry roast khus khus, rice grains, and the nuts.
- Powder them along with the coconut.
- Take a thick bottom pan and put the ground mixture along with water and boil it.
- Then add the sugar / jaggery, after it gets mixed add milk with saffron before removing from the fire.
- For dressing, roasted nuts and raisins can be used. serve it either way – hot or cold.
