Nutri bars offer a nutritious and delicious snack recipe, especially for children. Enriched with the goodness of cereals and nuts, nutri bars are also quite simple to prepare.

Nutri Bars recipe - How to make Nutri Bars

6 tbsp unsalted butter
1 tsp salt
6 cups puffed rice (kurmura)
6 cups Kelloggs Fruit loops
4 cups sugar
2 tbsp honey

  1. Lightly grease a 9 by 9inch pan with butter and set aside.
  2. Melt butter in a large vessel over a medium flame.
  3. Add salt and sugar and stir it till it dissolves and turns little brown.
  4. Remove from the heat and add all the other ingredients and mix well.
  5. Transfer all the mixture into that greased pan.
  6. Coat hands with oil/butter and press the mixture evenly into the pan.
  7. Let it cool for 30 mins.
  8. Then cut them into 3 by 3inch bars.
  9. Store into an airtight container.
