Kulle is a delicious vegetable recipe which is served in potato cups , shaped just like kulle or earthen pots in which tea is served in traditional India. These potato cups are filled with a delicious mix of ingredients ranging from cooked chickpeas, chaat masala to ginger flakes, coriander leaves and chillies.

6 medium sized oval potatoes
1 cup kabuli chana (white chick peas) ( soaked and with a pinch of )
2 tbsp ginger (adrak) julliennes
green chilli , slit green chilli lengthwise
2 tbsp black chaat masala
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1/4 cup finely chopped coriander (dhania) leaves
  1. Peel the potatoes and carefully cut them length wise.
  2. Scoop out some potato from the centre to make a well for the filling.
  3. Mix the chat masala and lemon juice with the chickpeas.
  4. Pile the chickpeas in the centre of the scooped out potatoes.
  5. Garnish the kulle with ginger,green chillies and coriander.
  6. Refrigerate. Serve chilled.
