Mexican Bean Soup is a wholesome soup which gives you all the nutrients from a single bowl. It is quite filling especially when taken with Corn Chips.

Jain Mexican Bean Soup recipe - How to make Jain Mexican Bean Soup



Preparation Time:    Cooking Time:    Total Time:     Makes 4 serving

2 cups tomato puree
1 cup boiling water
1 cup boiled rajma (kidney beans)
1/2 cup boiled hakka noodles
1/2 cup boiled and chopped babycorn
1 tsp chopped jalepenos
1 tsp chopped mint leaves (phudina)
1 tbsp oil
1 tsp tomato ketchup
salt to taste
1 tsp sugar
1 tsp soy sauce
freshly ground black pepper (kalimirch) powder to taste
corn chips to serve
  1. Add 1 tsp of soy sauce and toss the noodles so they do not stick to each other.
  2. Heat oil in a pan and add mint leaves, jalapenos, babycorn and rajma and saute well.
  3. Add the salt,pepper,sugar to it.
  4. Add tomato puree,boiling water and tomato ketchup and bring the soup to a boil.
  5. Add the boiled noodles and mix well.
  6. Serve hot.
