Also known as Chilli Guava, this recipe is part and parcel of our childhood memories! This Healthy Guava Snack is crunchy and super tasty, while also being extremely nutritious, which makes it a wonderful snack for kids and adults alike!
Guava is a very good source of fibre and is low in carbs, which makes it an apt snack for weight-watchers. It is a natural cleanser, which helps flush out toxins. Its high vitamin C content helps to build immunity and fights infections by building a strong defence system.
You can also keep your skin smooth and glowing with this snack! Carry a guava to work, chop it, sprinkle salt and chilli powder and your healthy snack is ready in a jiffy!
Alternatively, you can prepare the snack, take it to work and stash it into the refrigerator in your office till you are ready to munch on it – it will stay fresh as guava does not release water.
Take some extra guavas along, because it is a fun way to make friends!
- Wash and cut the guava into medium cubes using a sharp knife.
- Sprinkle little salt and chilli powder evenly over it.
- Serve immediately.
