guava juice recipe | Indian peru juice | amrud drink | pregnancy juice for constipation |

Guava juice is a delightful and refreshing drink with a pleasant aroma and a unique flavor. This recipe for Indian peru juice offers a fantastic way to enjoy the unique taste of guavas while retaining many of their health benefits. Unlike many fruit juices that are strained, this recipe keeps the pulp and fiber intact, making it a wholesome drink. The blend of sweet guava with a hint of tangy lemon and spicy ginger creates a truly delicious and well-balanced beverage that is both satisfying and good for you.

Perfect for Pregnancy and Digestive Health

This guava juice is particularly beneficial during pregnancy, especially for addressing common digestive issues like constipation. Guavas are a rich source of fiber, which acts as a natural laxative and promotes healthy bowel movements. By blending the cooked fruit without straining, this pregnancy juice for constipation ensures that you get the maximum amount of fiber, which is crucial for a healthy digestive system.

Nutrient-Rich and Delicious

While cooking guavas may cause a slight loss of vitamin C, this guava drink still remains a very good source of this essential nutrient. Vitamin C is vital for boosting the immune system and plays a key role in overall health. Additionally, the ginger juice and lemon juice not only enhance the flavor but also contribute their own health benefits, such as aiding digestion and providing antioxidants. The combination of these ingredients makes for a drink that is as nutritious as it is tasty.

The Recipe: A Simple Step-by-Step Guide

Making this guava juice is a straightforward process. First, combine guava cubes with sugar and water in a deep non-stick pan. Cook this mixture on a medium flame for 5 to 7 minutes until the guavas are tender. This step helps to soften the fruit and release its flavor. After cooking, let the mixture cool completely before blending it into a smooth paste.

Finishing and Serving

Once the cooked guava mixture has been blended, transfer it to a deep bowl. Add the remaining ingredients: lemon juice, ginger juice, salt, and chilled water. Mix everything well to achieve a uniform consistency and flavor. The lemon juice brightens the taste, while the ginger juice adds a warm, spicy note. A pinch of salt balances the sweetness, creating a perfectly refreshing drink.

Tips for Best Results

For the best flavor and a healthier drink, be sure to use fully ripe guavas. Ripe guavas are naturally sweeter, which means you can use less sugar, making the juice even more beneficial. Since the flavor of the fruit is central to this recipe, using fresh, high-quality guavas will make a significant difference. Serve this guava juice immediately to enjoy it at its freshest, and remember that with its unique taste and health benefits, it's a great choice for any occasion.
