This is a luscious shake with a pleasant fruity flavour. Since milk is a major concern for people with irritable bowl syndrome (IBS), this recipe is made using almond milk instead.
The Banana Almond Shake has a soft, soothing flavour with the natural sweetness of bananas. We have avoided refined sugar as that can trigger unpleasantness when you have IBS.
That said, we suggest you go for a small portion size when you try this for the first time, especially if you have diarrhea.
For those with IBS, only trial-and-error can show whether a recipe suits or not, since the way a person responds to every ingredient is totally individualistic.
- Combine all the indigents in a mixer and blend till smooth.
