Sandwiches are very famous and popular all over world, there are many varieties of sandwiches now a days in comparision to past so many years. Here is three layer sandwich stuffed with mayonise, curd, gbi, capsicum, mixed herbs and other spices.

Ingredients

For Mayonnaise Stuffing
1/2 cup hung curds (chakka dahi)
1/2 cup mayonnaise
salt to taste
1 onion , chopped
2 slit green chillies
1 cup chopped cauliflower
1/4 capsicum , chopped

For The Beans Stuffing
1 tsp oil
1 tsp carom seeds (ajwain)
1 onion , chopped
salt to taste
1 tomato , chopped
1/4 capsicum , roasted and chopped
1 tsp chili powder
1 tsp garlic (lehsun) paste
1 tsp mixed herb
1/2 cup tomato ketchup
3/4 cup baked beans
1 tsp cornflour , dissolved in water

Other Ingredients
3 slices bread
1/2 cup butter

For Serving

Method

For mayonnaise stuffing

    For mayonnaise stuffing
  1. Combine the curd, mayonnaise and salt and blend in a mixer till smooth.
  2. Transfer to bowl, add the cauliflower, onion, capsicum and green chilli and mix well.
  3. Keep refrigerated till used.

For beans stuffing

  1. Heat the oil in non-stick pan, add the carom seeds, onion and salt, mix well and saute till the onion turns pink.
  2. Add the capsicum and 2 tsp of water, mix well and cook for a minute.
  3. Add the red chilli powder, garlic and mixed herb, mix well and sauté on a medium flame for a minute.
  4. Add the tomato ketchup, baked beans and little water and mix well.
  5. When the mixture comes to boil, add the cornflour paste and mix well.
  6. Remove form the flame and keep aside.

How to proceed

  1. Remove the edges of the bread slices.
  2. Spread 2 to 3 tsp of mayonnaise stuffing evenly and cover with another slice.
  3. Apply 2 to 3 tsp of the beans stuffing over it and spread evenly and cover with the third slice.
  4. Apply little butter on top of the sandwich.
  5. Cook the sandwich in pre-heated griller, facing the buttered side downwards.
  6. Apply a little butter on top and grill for 3-4 minutes or till it becomes brown.
  7. Serve hot with ketchup.
