The Hot and Sour Noodle and Vegetable Salad features a splash of colours and a riot of flavours, in every sense! Vibrant coloured veggies like red capsicum and broccoli mingle with perfectly cooked noodles and a tangy, lemony soy-based sauce. Easy and quick, this salad makes use of common ingredients to create an exotic experience.

Ingredients

1 cup boiled noodles
1 cup blanched and sliced button mushrooms (khumbh)
1/4 cup finely chopped carrots
1/4 cup blanched broccoli florets
1/2 cup sliced red capsicum
1/4 cup sliced onions
2 tbsp finely chopped celery (ajmoda)

To Be Mixed Into A Dressing
1 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp chilli powder
1 tsp powdered sugar
1 tsp finely chopped garlic (lehsun)
1 tsp oil

Method
  1. Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and toss well.
  2. Serve immediately.

Awesome salad! very filling in itself! Goes well with soup and thats all you need for dinner!
