This is a simple everyday roti made with jowar flour and readily-available ingredients like spring onions and a hint of green chilli paste.
As it is also easy to make, you can include the Jowar Pyaz ki Roti as part of your daily diet. Jowar is the most stomach-friendly ingredient for those suffering from constant acidity.
If you are comfortable with curds, you can enjoy these rotis with a cup of fresh curds.
Try other stomach-friendly rotis like Suva Buckwheat Roti and Nutritious Cabbage and Methi Roti .
Method- Combine all the ingredients in a deep bowl and knead into a soft dough using enough hot water.
- Divide the dough into 4 equal portions and roll each portion into a 125 mm. (5") diameter thick circle using a little jowar flour for rolling.
- Heat a non-stick tava (griddle) and cook each roti, using ¼ tsp of oil, till brown spots appear on both the sides.
- Serve immediately.
