Enjoy potatoes the way the Greeks do! Deep-fried potato wedges are sautéed in olive oil together with garlic, spices and herbs, to get tongue-tickling Greek Style Potatoes.
The use of unpeeled potatoes gives a thoroughly enjoyable rustic feel to the dish, while a lacing of lemon juice not only adds a bit of tanginess but also boosts all the other flavours! Enjoy the Greek Style Potatoes immediately on preparation, while it is crisp and peppy!
Serve this simple dish with a robust flavour as a starter or as a side serving with pastas .
- Heat the oil for deep frying in a deep non-stick pan, add the potatoes and deep-fry a few at a time till they turn golden brown in colour from both all the sides. Drain on an absorbent paper and keep aside.
- Heat the olive oil in a broad non-stick pan, add the garlic and sauté on a medium flame for few seconds.
- Add chilli flakes, rosemary, potato wedges, lemon juice, pepper and salt and toss it gently on medium flame for 2 minutes.
- Serve immediately.
