Thali idli recipe - How to make Thali idli
Cooking Time: Total Time:    
1 cup rice
1 cup pooha
2 cup curd
1 tsp eno soda
salt to tasteidli cooker
thali stand
for chutney
1 large onion
1 small sized tomato salt to taste2 tsp red chilli powder
1 tsp oil
- First wash rice n keep it aside.then wash pooha . rice aur pooha ko bhego de for2 hours.
- Strain the water completely. grind it in the mixie by addin curd to it . it will become fine paste. add salt to taste.then keep paste for fermentation. after 3 hours apply ghee on the small thalis. add eno soda to the paste when u are about to cook.then pour the paste in different thalis n place it in the idli cooker.cook for 15-20 mins.
- For chutney take oil in kadai add chopped onions fry till golden browm then add chopped ttomato , salt n red chilli powder. grind it in the mixie into fine paste
